Hello Students! Post 1

Hello, everyone! I hope you are all well! Two of you probably do not have a computer, unless more aren't working, so try to be nice and share with one another. If the noble substitute allows, maybe use the standing computer as well.  I appreciate your finding patience in dealing with my absence, as I am trying to do the same. I truly wish to be back and teaching all of you. Hopefully it will be soon! It looks like we will have to interact through here for the next day or so. In lieu of that, this is what you need to do. When I post something, you are to respond to me through email or by posting directly here, rather on your own personal bloggers. It would be easiest truly to just email me responses. The link to this blog will remain on our edline page, so just click on the link each time!

If you are having difficulty with any assignment or aspect of the text, I am making it your responsibility to email me and let me know. During class time, I will be online and available for all questions, so there is no excuse allowed!

At this point between Friday and Wednesday, you should have completed the following. This should be a personal checklist and if something is incomplete, make certain it is done by the time I see you next.

Checklist:

1) Story Workshopping
2) Realism Quest
3) SAT Essay
4)  5 Possible Research Topics- Still waiting on many--this is inexcusable as most who have sent me theirs have received grades and hopefully helpful feedback!
5) Minister's Black Veil Read Per 6/ The Birthmark Read
6) Summary Points for the Minister's Black Veil and 6 questions- Period 6/ Same assignment, except for The Birthmark- Period 2

Now that we have gotten through the details---what I plan on doing is hosting the class online for today minimally. This means that you are completing the work, emailing it to me, and will receive feedback as well as a grade by the end of the period or day, depending on how quickly I receive your work.
If I do not receive something by the end of the period--it is safe for me to assume you were twiddling your thumbs. I do try to be as present as possible, but I am not Big Brother in a surveillance camera! That would be strange! So, make sure you are doing your work and if you are confused ask questions.! Your substitute has my number in the case that you have an academic related question. Otherwise, it would be easiest to email me for a speedy response.

Once you have read this, you must continue to post 2!------->
